Lunar New Year is the beginning of a year whose months are coordinated by the cycles of the moon. China, Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore and many Asian countries celebrate the Lunar New Year as national holidays. Lunar New Year is essentially a time for family and friends to come together, however, each country that celebrates the annual festival does so in their own unique way. Happy New Year!
