Meet Amazing Designer Derrick Vasquez AIFD, CFD…
Derrick Vasquez has been a member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) since 1984. He is an event specialist and his company Events by Derrick has been serving the floral industry for many decades. He has served as past President of AIFD, and is a recipient of the prestigious Fellow Award. He has designed on numerous panels throughout the USA, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
His designs have been featured in numerous floral publications, and he has delivered multiple presentations at AIFD Symposiums. His designs have even been in the Presidential Inauguration. His style is making things practical and unique. He is known for incorporating color, textures, and unique designs and details into his work.
