Beverley Ireland, AIFD
Bev has worked in the floral industry for over 35 years. Her work experience ranges from traditional retail flower shops, floral wholesale businesses, educational institutions, to currently owning and managing two flower shops in San Diego County. Jasmine Creek Florist was opened in 1993 and Mission Hills Florist was purchased in 2005.
She is an accredited member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) and has served on regional and national boards and as committee chair for the AIFD National Symposium.
In California, she is a past board member of the California State Floral Association. In that capacity, she served as a floral instructor, competition judge and featured show designer.
In the community, Bev currently serves on the board of directors of the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Rotary Club of El Cajon.
Her extra-curricular activities include yearly participation in the San Diego Museum of Art’s “Art Alive” and St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center Morning Glory Brunch. As an advocate for continuing education and raising the level of the floral design profession, Bev has mentored four employees to become AIFD members.
Bev and her husband John live in Spring Valley. They spend free time at home with their pets, working in their garden, reading, and scuba diving in the Caribbean.
Noel Tribbey, AIFD
A resident of La Costa, CA, Noel is a thirty-four year veteran of the floral industry. He was the first place winner in the 1990 California Top Ten Designer of the Year competition, and was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers in 1991. He has presented at AIFD National Symposium and served as South West Regional President. He most recently served as a member of the AIFD National Membership Committee.
As owner of his own floral event and consulting company, Noel creates stunning florals and Christmas decor for hotels, casinos and private residences. He is in high demand for his freelance design services with interiors, weddings and corporate events. Noel also enjoys inspiring customers as a merchandising and display consultant, and has worked in that capacity for Shinoda Design Centers for the past eleven years, helping to create the exciting end cap displays in both the Santa Ana and San Diego stores.
Noel has applied his talents to Sweepstakes winning Rose Parade floats and served for fifteen years as a member of the floral design team for the Academy Awards.
