National Unemployment Rates and Education Levels

Over the weekend, I attended a meeting of the Joseph Shinoda Memorial Scholarship Foundation. The financial adviser showed a fascinating graph that showed the relationship between unemployment rates and a person’s education level. I would not ordinarily include something like this on our blog. However, as a parent that preaches the value of a college education to a teenage daughter, I thought this would be an invaluable tool to other parents in a similar situation!

The graph shows the rates spread over the last twenty years.
